Group Flight:

We are happy to announce that registration is now open for our group flight for 5769. Students are encouraged to join the group flight but are welcome to make alternative arrangements.

Should you not be joining the group flight, please advise us of all your flight details so we know when to expect you.

Departing on: Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 11:50 PM
Departing: JFK International Airport, New York
Arriving: Ben Gurion International Airport, Tel Aviv
at 5:15 PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2008

Ariel Tours will once again be handling the flight arrangements for our group. They can assist you with alternative travel arrangements as well - departing on a different date, or originating from cities other than NY.

We apologize in advance for the last minute notification, but El Al has just advised that they will be increasing the fuel surcharge very soon by $80. Ariel Tours has worked very quickly to prepare all of the registration materials so that parents who are interested can register before the increase and save $80.

Ariel Tours has advised us of the following change regarding the luggage options for the group flight:
El Al has now decided to continue offering the extra bag option roundtrip for student groups departing in Aug/Sep 2008. (This is a reversal of El Al’s recent policy offering three bags on the NYC-TLV leg only)

As a result, Ariel Tours will now be offering all four luggage options as in past years.

1) two bags roundtrip
2) three bags roundrip
3) two bags NYC-TLV/three bags TLV-NYC
4) three bags NYC-TLV/two bags TLV-NYC

To reserve your space on the group flight, you must follow the simple registration procedures as detailed on their special website http://www.arieltours.com/schools

Additionally, you will find at that site lots of information regarding the group flight, including frequently asked questions and luggage guidelines.

With many years of experience handling school group flights, Ariel Tours has incorporated answers to most of the questions that parents usually have. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you carefully read their web pages.
